Fingerless gloves, too, are marvelous inventions. As for reheating meat.... Rabbit has never given us trouble when reheating, neither has lamb, neither has chicken which normally only lasts for one meal only as it is normally a cockerel we are eating and they are young and quite small when put into the freezer. But I do cook all our homegrown meat in a pot on the stove, simmering it for hours, so perhaps that will cook all the 'nasties'. Anyway, we have not had any probs with reheating our meat. Two fires! Wow! We only have one smallish log burner, so only heat one room. Electric blankets! Fantastic creations. Even known to get into bed during the day to have a warm up if Hubs has not lit the fire.
