Lazy Sunday

Weather's been warm and dry lately. Not good for gardeners like Georgie. Garden's dry and flowers collapsed. She's been checking weather reports over the last week or two. Gets glum when fine weather forecast. Bit weird. I get happyish when that happens but I ain't a gardener. She cheered up yesterday 'cos rain was predicted today. Sure enough, it arrived overnight. Been damp and grey all day. Not exactly bucketing down, but better than 'nowt. Anyways..., lazy Sunday afternoon. Been fiddling with some snaps. Playing with computery jiggery-pokery. Should be doing something useful I suppose, but can't be arsed.

 

Easter Sunday

A very good day. Managed a longish walk with dog, Geo and walking stick down to the bottom gate of Sprocket Hill. Late afternoon but still sunny and warm. Tree in blossom down there. Re-seeded field looking dazzling bright green. Returned home to watch thrilling Doha MotoGP with Frenchies Quartararo and Zarco first and second. Excellent. Watched the incredible Moto3 race earlier. Exhausting. Munched a bit of an Easter egg while ogling evening telly. As I said, a very good day.
