Jardin

Garden looks rather splendid at this time of year. All very fresh and budding. So, for t'other half who likes to be kept up to speed about our little patch of greenery, here's a snap du matin, another du late apres-midi and another showing showing the budding rhododododennydrondronny thingy which I have (honest guv') been watering as per instructions, plus a few other planty thingies...

  1. Your garden looks a very calm place to be. I feel calm just looking at it.

  2. It is indeed, as you say, a very calming place to be. Especially on a sunny evening with swallows dancing overhead in a clear blue sky. But then the church bells start clanging. And Alain's hunting dog starts howling. Then Sprocket joins in with his aggressive barking. Which sets off Jock. Which sets off Colette's Labrador. Bedlam.

  3. That last photo of the back of the house and long garden does look like a very chillaxed place to be :-)

  4. Sara - I can think of worse places to be! Photo is actually of the front of the house. Faces south looking out over the valley - a lovely view. The back of the house obviously faces north and has no windows apart from a Velux in the roof - not very interesting at all.
